Before collecting your sample
The instructions supplied with your kit are the reference for your collection method.
Check the kit is complete
Open the kit and check the contents against the list supplied with it. If anything is missing, damaged or already unsealed, ask for instructions before collecting a sample.
Follow the supplied instructions
Collection steps differ between kits, so the printed instructions in your kit take precedence over anything described elsewhere. Read them through once before you start.
Label and record your kit reference
Record the kit reference before you send anything back. It is how your sample is matched to your order, and it is the first thing you will be asked for if you need help later.
